Project Scope

As a design leader at Nike with the Apparel & Equipment Product ID group, I provided creative direction, packaging expertise and design strategy for a company-wide global Nike Apparel and Equipment packaging design and on garment labeling system used across all Nike brands.

NIKE - Global Brand Packaging Design

Problem

With nearly half a billion pieces of packaging produced annually, Nike wanted to reassess the overall strategy, reduce environmental impact and complexity and create consistent and premium packaging.

Action

Created a new, simplified design system, reduced complexities and implemented policies ensuring brand consistency and compelling visual storytelling across all touchpoints.

Result

Reduced number of Apparel Hangtags by 85%. Provided consistent brand messaging across Nike brand and licensee packaging while adhering to sustainable initiatives and delivering enhanced, premium details to all product packaging and on garment labeling.

Patterned with Apple Retail teams to create premium, exclusive products and packaging concepts to highlight the Apple / Nike+ Partnership

Created Packaging layouts and concepts as well as directed photoshoot for live model shots on location.

CHAMPION - Packaging Design and Branding Direction

Designed Packaging Concepts and Branding direction to re-launch Champion following their acquisition by Authentic Brands. Additional Packaging and Branding direction provided to create exclusive look for Champion x Target partnership

Designed secondary packaging for Abercrombie Signature Fragrance as well as Holiday Gift Set packaging.
